The OBFM201 gear flow sensor is equipped with two gears that rotate simultaneously. It calculates the volume of the medium passing through through high-precision gear volume measurement, enabling the measurement of tiny fluid media. It is a new type of volumetric flow sensor, used for precise continuous or intermittent measurement of the flow or instantaneous flow of liquids in pipelines.

working principle

The two gears mesh and rotate with each other, and each revolution discharges a fixed volume of fluid. The total flow rate is obtained by counting the number of gear revolutions. The rotation speed of the gear flow meter is detected by the sensing coil in the signal amplifier mounted on the watch case. The signal amplifier does not come into contact with the medium being measured. When the transmitter gear cuts the magnetic field lines generated by the permanent magnets in the housing, it causes changes in the magnetic flux in the sensing coil. The sensing coil sends the detected magnetic flux periodic change signal to the preamplifier, which amplifies and shapes the signal to generate a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate. It is sent to the unit conversion and flow accumulation circuit to obtain and display the cumulative flow value. At the same time, the pulse signal is also sent to the frequency current conversion circuit to convert the pulse signal into an analog current amount, thereby indicating the instantaneous flow value.
